Description: 4,758 GRT passenger steamship Riverina. J Laing & Sons of Sunderland built her in 1905 for Huddart Parker Ltd of Melbourne. She was wrecked without loss of life in 1927 when a squall drove her ashore 1.5 miles west of Gabo Island, Victoria. Attempts to salvage her failed and in the Second World War the Royal Australian Air Force bombed her wreck.
