Description: The graveyard war memorial, St Bees priory, Cumbria. It was designed by the famous scholar of Northumbrian art W G Collingwood, who was John Ruskin's secretary, at the request of Lt-Col George Dixon. The other war memorial, "St George and the Dragon", designed by local artist J D Kenworthy, is at the railway station.
