Description: St John the Divine, Vassall Road Designed by George Edmund Street in 1870-4, Pevsner describes this as "one of the best Victorian churches in south London". The splendid tower wasn't completed until 1888-9 (under Street's son Arthur Edmund). Grade I listed.
