Description: Also known as the Memorial Church of St John the Evangelist, built in 1901 by the Collins family in memory of John and Anne Collins. Situated in Mundoolun, Queensland, Australia, west of Mundoolun Road. The church was built from local sandstone to a design by John Buckeridge, Diocesan Architect of Brisbane at the time. The style is described as being of an Early English Gothic Revival Church, with the addition of a square, castellated bell tower. A foundation stone is marked: 'THIS STONE WAS LAID 22ND JUNE A.D. 1900.'. Now part of the Parish of Jimboomba, Anglican Church of Australia.
