Description: St Andrew's church. Looking west from the entrance. The church was built in 1829 and has an impressive 160-foot spire. It was erected by Rickman for the Marchioness of Downshire near the site of the former church, which was pulled down with the exception of the eastern portion of the chancel, which now serves as a mortuary chapel to the family of Lord Sandys - see 1139026.
