Description: St. George’s Anglican Church in Helmetta, New Jersey. Built in 1894 in the Queen Anne Gothic style by the founder of company town Helmetta, St. George’s is a contributing property to the George Washington Helme Snuff Mill historic district. Formerly an Episcopal church, the congregation departed during the Anglican realignment and is now part of the Anglican Diocese of the Living Word in the Anglican Church in North America.
