Description: Spinel Locality: Mogok, Pyin Oo Lwin District, Mandalay Division, Burma (Myanmar) (Locality at mindat.org) These are three exquisite, deep red, lustrous and transparent, octahedrons of gem spinel from the famous Mogok deposits, which have produced the world’s finest rubies. The largest crystal is almost 1.0 cm across. These crystals could easily be cut into fine gemstones. 0.9 x 0.9 x 0.9; 0.9 x 0.9 x 0.8; 0.8 x 0.8 x 0.7 cm
