Description: A Mitsubishi 250 kW wind turbine of the Kama'oa Wind Farm in Ka Lae (a.k.a. South Point), Big Island of Hawaii. The wind farm came online in 1987, was decomissioned in 2006, and the nearby Pakini Nui wind farm replaced it with 14 larger GE Energy 1.5 MW wind turbines in 2007.
