Description: The 1848–1857 map of Yorkshire, showing the brickfields site where the Armley Hippo fossilised bones were discovered in 1851, by brickfield workmen in Wortley (now Armley), West Riding of Yorkshire, England. The Armley Gyratory has now been built on this site. The Armley Hippo is now displayed in Leeds City Museum.
