Description: On 2nd March, 1971 the flag of Bangladesh was raised for first time in this place. This rooftop is the part of Arts building, university of Dhaka. DUCSU has placed a memorial plate to commemorate that event. On March, 2012 a mural titled Shangrami Chetona has been placed there to commemorate that glorious day.
