Description: Sealyham Mansion Georgian country house, TB sanatorium from 1923 to 1966, now a children's activity centre. Once the home of the Edwardes family. The Sealyham terrier was developed here in the 19th century by Captain John Owen Tucker-Edwardes as a rough-haired terrier for vermin control. See http://sealyhamterrierclub.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=26&Itemid=33 NB The house seems to lie very close to, or partly in, the gridsquare to the south.
