Description: Usually busy snatching pretzel rings from the stalks, this jay finally paused long enough to pose for my camera while we were visiting Point Lobos in California. I've also chosen not to brighten up the bird more (see the adjacent shot), since that washes out the blue in the ocean backdrop.
