Description: Saranac Laboratory, Saranac Lake, New York, 8-21-2010 Built by Dr. E.L. Trudeau, it was the first laboratory in the U.S. for the study of tuberculosis. It was the predecessor to today's Trudeau Institute. It is now used for the offices and museum of Historic Saranac Lake.
