Description: Sweden, Sveriges Riksbank, 1000 Kronor specimen (1909). The original designs/engravings for this note were introduced in 1888 and remained largely unchanged (aside from denomination) through 1914. The allegory of Svea is on the front (by Max Mirowsky), and Gustav Vasa on the back. Also on the reverse is a handwritten notation approving the specimen for production, dated 15 July 1909.
