Description: Deployment of the Anik C2 satellite during STS-7. The Canadian Telesat-F (Anik C2) communications satellite is about to clear the vertical stabilizer of the shuttle Challenger to begin its way to its earth-orbital destination. Also visible in this frame are the Shuttle pallet satellite, the experiment package for NASA's Office of Space and Terrestrial Applications (OSTA-2), some get-away special (GAS) canisters and the Canadian built remote manipulator system (RMS) arm.
