Description: OLD HANNA’S TOWN HISTORIC SITE; CONSISTED OF 30 LOG HOMES, TWO TAVERNS, AND A PALISADED FORT. THE HANNASTOWN RESOLVES WERE ADOPTED IN 1775 AND HAVE BEEN TERMED A LITTLE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE. THE TOWN DISAPPEARED AND PORTIONS HAVE NOW BEEN RECONSTRUCTED. TWO OF THE LOG HOMES ARE SEEN IN THIS PICTURE AND ONE IS ONE OF THE TAVERNS. Site of Old Hannastown was listed on the NRHP on January 26, 1972. Located 4 miles (6.4 km) northeast of Greensburg 40°20′37″N 79°30′19″W in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania
