Description: The Round Lake Logging Dam, east of Fifield, Wisconsin, was built in 1878 to control water flow on the Flambeau River so that pine logs could be driven down the river to sawmills. The reconstructed dam is the last known such dam in Wisconsin, and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
