Description: Rock Island and Crookhaven Lighthouse from landside The houses around Crookhaven lighthouse belonged to Irish Lighthouses and housed the families of the lighthouse keepers of Crookhaven lighthouse, Fastnet lighthouse and the Mizen head lighthouse. Of course the lighthouses have long been automatic and the houses are now privately owned holiday homes.
