Description: Retired Gen. Robert Lee Scott, is pictured next to an original oil painting of himself. Scott flew P-40's in combat over Burma and China with the "Flying Tigers" in World War II where he claims 22 kills from 1941-1942. Scott is the author of the best seller "God is My Co-Pilot". Scott now works in the Museum of Aviation, Robins AFB, Ga. Plaque next to exhibit reads, "Original oil painting by artists Butler Brown and A. A. Brown depicting General Robert Lee Scott Jr. author of God is My Co-pilot, his P-40 aircraft flown in China during World War II, the American flag and quote from God is My Co-pilot"; quote from Scott's book in painting reads, "...We were fighting for the American Girl... Democracy, Coca-Colas, Hamburgers, Clean Places to Sleep, or the American Way of Life."
