Description: Municipal Clock Tower of Manaus, Brazil. On it there is an engraved phrase, in Latin, around the dial “vulnerant omnes, ultima necat”, which in free translation says: “everyone hurts, the last one kills”. Latin proverb frequent on clocks, especially on old sundials. It refers to time, hours and our passage through life, counting those hours.
