Description: Reikado Hall, atop Mount Misen on Miyajima, Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima, Japan. Said to be spot where Kūkai (空海), known posthumously as Kōbō-Daishi (弘法大師), the founder of Shingon Buddhism, performed ascetic practices in the year 806 AD. The fire within this building is claimed to have burned without stop since that time.
