Description: 1711 painting of O. Zacharias showing the ceremonial arrival of a coach at the Reichstag (Imperial Diet) in Regensburg, a Free Imperial City. Actualy, the Reichstag didn't have it's own distinct building: the delegates met in the Reichssaal (Imperial Hall) inside the still-standing Rathaus (City Hall) of Regensburg, which is the building shown in the painting.
