Description: Picture of broken Scottsbluff (9500 - 8500 B.P.) with strong characteristics of Cody Complex flaking. Believed to have been found approx. 2000 to 3000 years later and reworked/adapted to contracting stem technology by an Archaic culture known as the Adena. Made of Permian chert and found on the Arkansas River near Sand Springs in Northeast Oklahoma. Found by Noah Benzing and authenticated by Bill Breckenridge in 2011. 1 3/4"L x 5/8" W
