Description: This photograph was taken by me at the Bhimeshvara temple (also spelt Bhimesvara) at Nilagunda (or Neelagunda) in the Davangere district of Karnataka state, India, The temple was constructed during the last quarter of the 11th century A.D. during the rule King Vikramaditya VI of the Western (Kalyani) Chalukya dynasty
