Description: Looking westward from Taylor Lake Road in the Big Bend of northern Butler County, Kentucky, United States. In the distance, near the trees lining the Green River, is what remains of the Rayburn Johnson Shell Mound. An archaeological site and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, in 1994, it was declared part of the Green River Shell Middens Archeological District, a National Historic Landmark.
