Description: ROEBLING INN WAS ONE OF SEVERAL HOTELS IN THE DISTRICT USED INITIALLY TO ACCOMMODATE THE BUILDERS BUT LATER IT BECAME THE SOCIAL CENTER OF THE VILLAGE WITH BOWLING ALLEYS IN THE BASEMENT AND THE ONLY PLACE WHERE ALCOHOL WAS SERVED. IT IS NOW ONE OF THE KEY STRICTURES IN THE HISTORIC DISTRICT
