Description: Proposed flag for Chicago, Illinois made in 1892 by Francis Davis Millet using a design by Alfred Jensen Råvad. Although it was never approved by the city council, it became widely used as an unofficial city flag during the World's Columbian Exposition in particular. It was eventually superseded by Chicago's first official flag in 1917.
