Description: Poznań Town Hall (Ratusz) is located in the Old Market Square in the centre of the Old Town. It served as the city's administrative building until 1939, and now houses a museum. The town hall was originally built in the late thirteenth century following the founding of the medieval city in 1253. Every day at noon there is a display of mechanical fighting goats played out above the clock on the front wall of the building. The Scotch Mist Gallery contains many photographs of historic buildings, monuments and memorials of Poland.
