Description: POT BOILER Unique ID: SWYOR-1F6D48 Object type certainty: Probably Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation as at April 2018 Two incomplete fire-cracked cobbles of unknown date; stones which have been subjected to high heat causing them to crack and break. Similar objects from the same farm have been recorded as pot boilers, but it is also possible that these stones were used to form hearths, probably for an industrial process. The stone is probably a fine grained sandstone. The two pieces do not join.
