Description: Portrait of James Francis Edward Stuart (1688-1766), with the British orders of the Garter and the Thistle, misidentified with Victor Amadeus II of Savoy (1666-1732) and with Vittorio Amadeo III of Sardinia (1726-1796). Identification proposed by user Ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with some portraits of James Francis (see images below) and the lack of physical resemblance with Vittorio Amadeo.
