Description: Capability demonstrating portable satellite ground station built by in the late 1970s by the Royal Signals and Radar Establishment (RSRE), primarily for use with Skynet 2B launched in 1974. Deployed in 1979 to support the peace-keeping Operation Agila in Zimbabwe. Contributed to the development of the RACAL TSC 502 and the vehicle-version Marconi VRC 501.
