Description: Engraving of 1783 of the Pont-Neuf de Toulouse by P-G Berthault based on drawings made by Pierre Souffron after 1643. The engraving shows the triumphal arch demolished in 1860 to facilitate the traffic. The sculpted decoration showed King Louis XIII on horseback. The document also shows the "lion masks" that were to decorate the openings in the piers, downstream side, never carved.
