Description: Skull of Plateosaurus engelhardti MEYER 1837, an early sauropodomorph from the Upper Triassic of Central Europe, in the Naturhistorisches Museum Nürnberg (Natural History Museum of Nuremberg), Germany. It is probably part of a replica of a mounted skeleton which is displayed in the Paläontologisches Museum München (Paleontological Museum of Munich) and which comprises material (BSP 1962 I 153) found in the town of Ellingen, Bavaria, in 1962.[1]
