Description: Fields at the Pickaway Settlements Battlesite in Bethel Township, Clark County, Ohio, United States, looking northwest from the southeastern corner of the battlefield. Located along State Route 7, the battlefield lies approximately seven miles west of Springfield. It is the site of the Battle of Peckuwe in 1780 — the largest battle of the American Revolutionary War west of the Appalachians — in which Kentucky militia under George Rogers Clark destroyed the large Shawnee town of Piqua. Today, the site is part of the George Rogers Clark Park, and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
