Description: Eastlake Park is bounded by 15th, 16th, Jefferson and Jackson streets. The period of historic significance of this park was from 1890 to 1949. In 1911, Booker T. Washington spoke there during the celebration called the Great Emancipation Jubilee. W. E. B. DuBois also addressed a crowd in the park. The park was listed in the Phoenix Historic Property Register in June 2009.
