Description: Dreamy Draw Dam is a compacted earthfill flood control dam and was the first of four dams built under the Phoenix, Arizona, and Vicinity plan. According to local legend Dreamy Draw Dam is supposedly a UFO crash site where in 1947 the Army Corp. of Eng. used rock to cover up the crash site. Dreamy Draw Dam is located in the Phoenix Mountain Reserves at approximate 24th Street alignment, just east of Northern Avenue.
