Description: Penstemon cyananthus var. subglaber - Wasatch beardtongue. "This tall penstemon (usually about 0.5 m tall) is common throughout most elevational settings in the sagebrush steppe of this area. It is difficult to distinguish from Penstemon cyaneus, but the anther sacs are less than 2 mm long and little if at all curved or "S" shaped." In Bingham Co., Idaho, USA
