Description: Factory of Orenstein - Arthur Koppel Co. at Koppel, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA; The company was founded in 1906 by german railway entrepreneur Arthur Koppel (1851-1908) and started up in 1907. The place was touched by the Pennsylvania Railroad and by the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad. Factory products: light railway materials, switches, turning platforms, traversers and steel cars for narrow gauge and standard gauge; Beside the factory the company built several apartement houses for the employees and became also the eponym of the borough.
