Author: Unknown painter, presumably nineteenth century. Korean shamanic paintings never record dates, are always by anonymous painters, and are fairly conservative with regards to style, making dating any work a matter of guesswork. However, according to a quasi-governmental report, the shrine where this painting is enshrined was originally built in c. 1818, and then later moved to its current location in 1904 with its current artwork.
