Description: Old graveyard, Copeland Island. Copeland Island is the largest of the Copeland Islands. The name comes from the Copeland family who settled there in the 12th century. There is a small graveyard in the east of the island the last burial in which was in 1965 a former resident who died on the mainland. The holes are rabbit burrows which abound on the island.
