Description: Old Willey House, Crawford Notch, New Hampshire. Built in 1793 as a public house on the Coös Road, it burned in 1898. On August 28, 1826, Samuel Willey, Jr., together with his wife, five children and two hired men, perished nearby in a rock slide.
