Description: Hampshire County Courthouse (1833) was a 19th century brick edifice located at the corner of Main (U.S. Route 50) and High (West Virginia Route 28) Streets in Romney in the U.S. state of West Virginia. The 1833 courthouse was demolished following a fire during renovations in 1920. The current courthouse was built on the same site in 1921.
