Ruins of an ancient church on the site of a monastery founded by St. Ciaran who died around 770 A.D. with marvellous high crosses and this Ogham stone bearing the inscription 'COVAGNI MAQI MUCOI LUGUNI'. Ogham stones were the first example of a written Irish language.
