Oboe_control_room.jpg (370 × 264 pixels, file size: 38 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)
Description: The main part of this image shows an Oboe navigation console. The two CRTs, some of the largest built during that era, were used for gross and fine distance measurement. This control room is built into a Nissen hut (or similar) which may suggest it is one of the mobile sites moved to continental Europe after D-Day.
