Description: Common Potoo (Nyctibius griseus). We saw this nocturnal bird in Caroni Swamp, Trinidad. It hunts at night but during the day it perches upright on a tree stump, and is very hard to see as it looks like part of the stump because it stays so completely still as it perches.
