Description: Britain was an outpost of the Roman Empire and is still criss-crossed with their straight roads. One mile from Akeman Street, the villa at North Leigh now lies deserted down a narrow cart track in the depths of the Cotswold countryside. Building commenced 2000 years ago and it was lived in for about 400 years. www.lifeinthecotswolds.blogspot.com/
