Description: One of our last stops in Ireland (after leaving Belfast in Northern Ireland) on our way back the airport in Dublin was to the 5,000-year-old stone age passage tomb at Newgrange in County Meath. It's age places it before the Egyptian pyramids and Stonehenge. The orderly wall of white quartz and natural stones were an architectural reconstruction using materials that were found at the base of the mound.
