Description: Newberry Mountains seen from the west, in extreme south-easterern Nevada. View is from a southern section of the north-sloping en:Eldorado Valley, an en:endorheic basin; all drainages end at a en:dry lake. The route "U.S. 95 in Nevada" goes north-south in the valley from Boulder City-Henderson, south to Searchlight, etc. (It rises steeply out of the valley north to intersect with U.S. Route 93, Henderson-Boulder City.)
