Description: STATION BUILT BY THE READING COMPANY IN 1929. IT CLOSED IN THE 1960’S AND WAS SOLD AND IS NOW USED BY VARIOUS COMMERCIAL FIRMS. IT NO LONGER HAS ANY ACCESS TO THE TRACKS ALTHOUGH TRAINS PASS BY AND ONLY THE LANSDALE/DOYLESTOWN AND MANAYUNK/NORRISTOWN LINES SERVE THIS STATION ON THE SEPTA LINES. ABOVE THE COLUMNS CAN STILL BE SEEN THE ENGRAVED NORTH BROAD STREET STATION AND READING COMPANY . IT WAS DESIGNED BY FAMOUS ARCHITECT HORACE TRUMBAUER
