Description: Myotis dasycneme, Natura 2000 species, quite rare in Europe. In the Benelux, it hunts only above very calm rivers ("canneaux") mainly in the north (The Netherlands, Flanders). At fall it makes migrations toward the south (of the Benelux) to overwinter in natural and artificial caves that are quite rare in The Netherlands.
